Membership

Membership is open to everyone who supports CNSDB’s aims and objectives. CNSDB members include people who are deaf-blind as well as family members, friends, professionals, intervenors, interpreters and others who are interested in supporting the goals of our organization.

CNSDB has a volunteer national Board of Directors comprised of five people who are deaf-blind and three associate members (people who are not deaf-blind).

Our membership voting process is weighted to ensure that control of the organization remains in the hands of people who are deaf-blind.  It provides associate members with one vote while each vote from our deaf-blind members is weighted to count as two votes.
